We are on the same page.. I like the intake it is not isolated by rubber so you should have a heat transfer to keep everything warn and less icing

The turbo was designed for a 140 cubic inch engine and rated a 180 hp. You may have spooling issues with it.

To big to long to boost
To little boost to soon.

Really I did not know that, I knew this rayjay was a kit back in the 70s like the picture I posted. Said it was for the 1500-1600cc. I am trying to get the original documentation from the kit from the guy with the kit car I showed above. I have gotten no reply yet.

Talking to Chris I found this out

If it is a water cooled turbo you want to run water because they down size the oil capacity.

I think that is a different turbo, the pic u posted has lines right by the intake , the picture I posted is what I have. Looks like there in a turbo to carb adaptor that is bigger than mine.

With a draw-thru like you're showing, you are limited to mounting the turbo directly to the manifold. Or something close.
With a blow-thru, you can mount the turbo where you want (within reason) and plumb it to your carb. You must mount it above the oil level of the engine so that the turbo will drain its oil back into the motor.
Trading a gas tank was a good deal. Throw away the side draft carb and blow it through your Weber. Keep it down around 7 or 8 lbs, and you can have a very streetable car.
Here's my setup with an intercooler:

Where did you get the top hat for your weber?

I made it from a piece of 4"x6"x 3/8" wall rectangle tubing. It has a piece of 10 gauge welded onto the bottom that fits the carb. The top is drilled and tapped so that the aluminum cover can be screwed on with a gasket. I drilled and tapped 1/8" NPT in the sides for the fittings.

Those are neat, but spendy. You could build something similar out of 3-1/2" or 4"pipe.
