Hey there! Just found out about this place through Dann and Kyle. I live in West Sac and I'm also building a Herbie replica. I'm currently on the hunt for either an oval window or an early big window bug (on the cheap). My Herbie project is a pan-off, major undertaking so I'm looking for something to slap together so I can enjoy some local running around and get-togethers. Look forward to meeting and chatting with all y'all.

Oh, yeah, a cheap oval.

Caution: Greg is mental. He scares me. Children cry at the sight of him.

I don't mean "cheap" as in how you feel after a "days work".

I'm just looking for a rat turd. Basketcase. Something inexpensive.

Hey hey. Welcome welcome. Glad to have another Vduber aboard. Hope to meet you soon. I havent seen any latley (65 or older) but keep an eye on CL. I saw about 5 or 6 cars for under $1000 in just the last week or two. Id have probably picked another one or two up if I had the funds. Biz is slow right now. N-e-who welcome aboard again.

CL ads are good. Non-VW people don't know about The samba and often don't know what their car is really worth.

There was one here that a gal only wanted $500 for, but it was a '70 or something with only a bad fuel pump, supposedly. I'd have bought it if I hadn't just bough another car.

I SHOULD have bought it and flipped it.
