I might have found my VW

so I need to fill some requirements,

1. has to have back seats
2. has to be able to go camping(carry stuff)
3. has to be fun!

I think with one small part ( roof rack ) this would do it

YEAH.......THAT PIC IS NOT A PANCAKE ENGINE??????? THAT IS A UPRIGHT. SO WHAT YOU SEE MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU GET.

QUICK STORY......I BOUGHT AN 84 TOYOTA PICKUP AS A CRAWLER. WAS TOLD ABOUT A VALVE TICK AND THAT IT HAD 488 RING AND PINIONS. 2 WEEKS LATER I FOUND A WRIST PIN KEEPER AND 1.5 BEARINGS IN THE OIL PAN. ABOUT 1.5 YEARS LATER AFTER A PINION NUT CAME LOOSE AND LET THE PINION WALK INTO THE CARRIER I FOUND 411 GEARS NOT 488.

WITHOUT TEARING INTO THE ENGINE AND MEASURING THINGS THERES NO REAL WAY TO TELL WHAT IT REALLY IS. IM JUST SAYING. ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS LISTED AS A PANCAKE ENGINE AND ITS AN UPRIGHT PICTURED.

It will work to your advantage in a way. You can offer a lot less saying it has a "lesser" motor in it. LOL Very Happy It would only be worth the 3000 if it had the pancake. Yah, I'm just saying this, not really meaning it. LOL You get the idea though! Very Happy

OH, and that one has a lot more room for camping and you can still make a roof rack! Very Happy lol!

You should have no problem finding a pretty darn nice ride for that! Can't wait to see what you get.

Uncle sam has decided to give me the big green wennie again. due to a past debt I have lost about half of my tax return, and the rest will be delayed up to 14 weeks, so unless you guys know someone who will finance a Vdub I am still watercooled Sad

A VW submarine is still a VW.

We could have a mole in Sac Water...

I am just sayin'.

When you do get your money, you should buy David's '63 rag...

I hope so, with my new schedule at work it makes sharing a car with the wife a pain. I need to buy something sooner than later.

I did look at a passat wagon yesterday affraid

Technically all vehicles are air cooled Greg. You're stupid.
