I wanna go and pull pedal assemblies, transmissions, and beams.

Oh my... Shocked

Does anyone know about what they charge for said items?

You can check the prices on their web site.

This weekend was a 1/2 off weeked.

Normal price for a transmission is ~$75 +$30 core charge.

Not too sure on the rest.

EDIT: ACCORDING TO PNP'S WEBSITE, THIS BUS IS GONE!

I found out there was a 70 pop top bus at the Rocklin PnP. Today I went to see what was left. I found a few things I could use and left a few things I thought about getting, but figured I'd leave them for someone that needed them more! Very Happy

The parking lights are gone now, but I left the tail lights.

The buddy seat is all there, I was thinking of getting the padding parts, but decided to leave them for someone else that needed them more then I did. There is a small tear in the bottom and the top shows some wear but is useable.

I took the horn button, turn signal switch ( the important half, didn't take the tools to pull the wheel.), and the headlight switch and the knobs for the other switches. I finally have my headlight and dome light picture plugs. I will post that in my bus thread! Very Happy

Turn signals looked usable. I didn't take them.

I found two bugs there. I was getting hot with my jacket on so I didn't look to hard for anymore. Couldn't take my jacket off if you know what I mean? LOL

This said it was a 71. I noticed it had a fuel pump on it. I left it.

This said 71. It's motor was pretty well intact. Just a few things missing.

The last one looks like it was sitting for a long time. Had some major moss growing on it. Looks like it may have came from the same place as the bus, it had moss too.

Looks like they've been sitting for a fortnight.

Looks like a good windshield in that Bus.

I have only seen one Type 3 at Pick-n-Pull in all my travels (looking for VWs), and it was back in 09. They show up from time to time, but they're few and far between.

Thats at the rancho main yard not the import yard. Also a pretty complete 412 with roofrack and vw. hubcaps. I took the 70's era niello Lic. plate frame from the 412.

There is a price list on their site. I believe it said 19.95 per section. Meaning 20 bucks for the top part of the seat and 20 for the bottom. So your looking at 40 bucks. Roughly. It seemed to be all there, but will need new upholstery!

LOL, not sure what a 412 is? Sorry, I do know that the station wagon one is there, the one in the pics. I there was a different one there I didn't see it. Then again we didn't look to hard for the others, just buses and bugs mainly. We just happened to run across the squareback. Very Happy

It kind of looks like a square back but has a type 4 engine. It was not in the same row as the type 3's. It looked pretty complete.

I only saw the squareback. I didn't see any older VW's around it so I moved to the next bug. LOL
